Dr.S.Ganesan, Professor & Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, joined ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ as Asst. Professor in June 2009.He completed BE from Government college of technology, Coimbatore and ME from Alagappa chettiar Government college of Engineering and Technology,karaikudi. He worked as a Senior CAE Analyst in Mahendra & Mahendra. He continued the research in the field of alternative fuels. He holds teaching and research experience for 21 years. He has published 170 papers in various reputed National and international journals.

- Doctoral Committee Member for Anna University, VELS University, Bharath university etc.
- Board of study member for Alagappa Chettiar Government college of Engineering and Technology, Karaikudi and Annapoorna College of Engineering, Salem.

- Received Innovative Research, Best Academician Award. Specialization : Mechanical Engineering awarded by The Society of Innovative Educationalist & Scientific Research Professional ,Chennai for the year 2021-22.
- Received Best Researcher Award from Knowledge research Academy for the Year 2022-2023

- Currently guiding 6 Research Scholars under the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ Institute of Science & Technology, Chennai, India.
